About this platform

Aurora Tree Removal is a quote-routing and partner-coordination platform operated by Aroon Maharaj in GTA, Ontario. Tree-removal services are performed by independent ISA-certified arborist partners, not directly by the platform. The platform is responsible for routing, scoping, permit submission, and partner vetting; the partner crew is responsible for the work itself, equipment, on-site safety, and the workmanship guarantee.

Quotes

Quotes are estimates based on the information you provide and a site assessment. The quoted price is good for 30 days from the date issued. Site conditions discovered during the work that materially change scope (significantly larger tree than represented, unmarked utilities, etc.) may require a written change order before work continues.

Work guarantee

Partner crews provide a 12-month workmanship guarantee on every completed job. If a stump regrows from missed grinding, if property damage from the crew's work is not restored, or if Aurora/Newmarket/Richmond Hill bylaw filings prove incorrect due to our error, we make it right at no additional cost.

The guarantee does NOT cover: weather damage to the tree or property after the work, growth of replacement trees we did not plant, decay of nearby trees, regrowth from intentionally-retained root systems, or pre-existing property damage not caused by the crew.

Insurance and liability

Every partner crew carries at least CAD $2 million general liability insurance and current WSIB clearance. Certificates are available before work begins, on request. The platform's role is to verify and route; the partner crew's insurance is the operative coverage for any on-site incident. The platform does not warrant the partner's insurance limits beyond verifying their existence at intake and every six months.

Privacy

Personal information is handled per our privacy policy. By submitting a quote request, you consent to your information being shared with the specific partner arborist crew assigned to your job.

Cancellation

You can cancel a scheduled job at no cost up to 48 hours before the scheduled date. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a small dispatch fee covering the partner crew's lost-time costs. Emergency removals are non-cancellable once a crew has been dispatched.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Ontario.

Changes

We may update these terms periodically. Material changes are announced on this page with an updated date at the top. Continued use of the site or services after a change indicates acceptance.
