What we collect
When you submit a quote request, call us, or send an email, we collect: your name, phone number, property address (for the quote), and the description of the tree work you're requesting. Phone calls to our tracking number are recorded; the caller is notified via the greeting. We also collect basic analytics from this website (page views, referrer, country-level location) via Google Analytics 4.
How we use it
Your information is used solely to respond to your quote request, perform the work if you proceed, follow up with you, and improve our service. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
For the work itself, your name, address, phone number, and job description are shared with the specific partner arborist crew assigned to your job. Each partner crew has a written confidentiality obligation to us regarding customer information.
How long we keep it
Quote requests we don't act on: 12 months, then deleted. Completed jobs: 7 years (for warranty, insurance, and tax purposes), then deleted. Call recordings: 12 months. Analytics data: 14 months (Google Analytics 4 default).
Your rights under PIPEDA
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections, and request deletion (subject to legal retention obligations). To exercise these rights, email hello@auroratreeremoval.ca. We respond within 30 days.
Third-party services we use
- Google Analytics 4 — website traffic analytics. Anonymized IP, no advertising.
- Twilio — phone-call routing and recording.
- Cloudflare — CDN and DNS. Logs IP for abuse prevention.
- Vercel — hosting. Standard server logs.
- Supabase — encrypted database storing form submissions and call metadata.
